A. The Contractor shall provide all necessary elements including labor, equipment, tools, scaffolding, vehicles, and all consumable and incidental materials as required, on a “PER CALL/AS NEEDED” basis, to perform asbestos PCB, lead and mold abatement at all facilities under the jurisdiction of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. B. The Contractor shall provide, set up, maintain, and remove, upon project completion, scaffolding, as referenced in Section 3.21, SCAFFOLDING, of this TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Section. The Contractor will be reimbursed for said scaffolding in accordance with Section 5.01, UNIT PRICE SCHEDULE, in this TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Section. The need for said equipment will be subject to the approval of the University Representative. All PCB, Lead and Mold Abatement services shall be performed under the direct supervision of the University Representative, Douglas Montminy, or designee, of the Physical Plant Contract Administration Office. Any alterations or modifications of the services performed shall be by written agreement only between both the University and the Contractor. Said agreement shall be processed prior to commencement of any alterations or modifications. Claims for extra work or materials will only be allowed by written agreement between both the University and the Contractor.
