The WORK covered in the Contract Documents generally includes reconstruction of: Nowell Avenue (from Cordova Street to approximately 125 feet northwest of Sitka Street). The WORK generally consists of: Replacement of underground water transmission and distribution pipe networks with new 10” and 14” HDPE pipe, water services of various types and sizes, and fire hydrants. WORK will include installation of temporary water systems to maintain service to affected residents and the adjacent pump station; Replacement of the existing sanitary sewer systems with new manholes, 8” PVC sewer pipe, and 6” and 8” services with cleanouts, New underground storm drain system consisting of 12” and 18” CPP, as well as underdrains. Excavation, grading and shaping of basecourse material, asphalt pavement, concrete curb & gutter, concrete valley gutters, guardrail, and miscellaneous other improvements necessary for a complete project
