Objective: To create a 25-30 minute continuous fireworks show visible to park visitors as well as other vantage points in town. The show should feature a dynamic combination of aerial effects, synchronized to up-beat, Americana-themed music. Specifications: 1. Display must be a minimum of 25 minutes and a maximum of 30 minutes in duration. 2. Display shall include a spectrum of styles, patterns, and sound effects. Shells up to 10” are acceptable and shell sizes and quantities shall be included in all proposals. 3. The Contractor shall provide a creative, Americana-themed music playlist, synchronized with the fireworks display. A transponder will be provided for FM reception within the Park boundaries. Maury County Parks reserves the right of final approval of the proposed musical selections. 4. The fireworks display shall include: A) low and high level presentation; and B) distinct opening and closing portions. 5. Set-up and discharge: The Contractor shall provide staff at all times during arrival, set-up, preparation, during discharge, and immediately following the conclusion of the display. From arrival to completion, staff shall be on site and in control of the firing zone and surrounding area. 6. Transportation and storage of pyrotechnics: The Contractor is solely responsible for the assurance that all pyrotechnic materials are properly packaged and transported in compliance with all applicable laws and ordinances and that unfired fireworks are covered and protected during firing. The Contractor shall ensure the security of the fireworks and firing materials at all times. 7. Contractor shall be available for display on back-up date (next day, weather permitting). Display must be staffed and executed in every aspect by personnel trained and licensed in pyrotechnics. 8. In the event the display is postponed for any reason, the Contractor is solely responsible for securing all product and equipment until completion of display. 9. Clean up: The Contractor shall remove immediately any hazardous material. Before departing the Contactor will stack cardboard and other unwanted packing materials for Parks personnel pick up. All other trash shall be left in receptacles provided by the park.
