Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.. MUSC Hollings Cancer Center Cell Sorting Shared Resource Laboratory is requesting to purchase a maintenance agreement. (Beckman Coulter CytoFlex LX (Serial# BD45318) (83195010-Asset tag), and Beckman Coulter MoFlo Astrios). Beckman Coulter is the manufacturer of the equipment, and only their technicians are authorized to provide repair services. The instruments are equipped with data-acquisition computers and proprietary software, which only representatives of Beckman Coulter have the necessary permissions to troubleshoot and repair issues with the software or the associated computer. No other companies are authorized to service Beckman Coulter CytoFlex LX and Beckman Coulter MoFlo Astrios instruments and associated software. Only Beckman Coulter technicians have the necessary training and proprietary tools. MUSC is declaring this a sole source procurement in accordance with SC Consolidate Procurement Code 11-35-1560.
