The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center (MD Anderson) request proposals from qualified suppliers and intermediaries of blood products and services (“Products and Services”) to treat patients in need, and to perform immunohematology reference laboratory (IRL) testing as applicable. MD Anderson provides the largest Transfusion Services in the country, supporting approximately 7,800 transfusions monthly in which half are red blood cells (RBC) and the other half are platelets (PLT). The goal of this RFP is to select suppliers that can provide and support any of the products and services needed by the institution and that are in good standing with the State of Texas. Supplier does not have to support all products or services if they are not available.
