The contractor shall maintain sufficient trained personnel, equipment, and materials to service all ice machines within Canyons School District facilities on a scheduled basis while maintaining capacity for emergency service calls as needed. 2. EQUIPMENT COVERAGE 2.1 Equipment Types Services shall cover all commercial ice-making equipment throughout Canyons School District facilities, including but not limited to: - Modular ice machines - Undercounter ice makers - Countertop dispensers - Combination ice and water dispensers - Flake ice machines - Nugget ice machines - Storage bins and dispensing systems Pre-Service Requirements Prior to beginning any service work, the contractor shall: - Coordinate scheduling with facility management to minimize disruption to school operations - Verify equipment model and serial numbers against service records (CSD will provide a list of locations and model information) - Document initial equipment condition with photographs when applicable - Ensure all service technicians have completed required background checks for working in school environments 3.2 External Inspection and Assessment The contractor shall perform comprehensive external inspections including: - Visual inspection for physical damage, wear, or deterioration of exterior components - Assessment of ventilation clearances and air flow patterns around equipment - Verification of proper installation and mounting security - Examination of electrical connections and cord condition
