1.0 Chassis 1.01 Chassis & cab A new Ford F-450 chassis shall be supplied by the town of Lincoln upon arrival the chassis shall be picked up from the Lincoln Fire Department by the bidder and the completed vehicle delivered to the Fire department upon completion. Kit • 120v / 400 watt Outlet - Dash Mounted • Tires - 225/70R/19.5 G BSW A/P 1.02 Wheels The stock ford wheels shall be removed and returned to Lincoln Fire Department. Four (4) new black steel 19.5” x 7.5” “Super Single” wheels with Toyo M608Z 285/70R19.5 tires shall be installed. The tires shall be mounted and balanced and a spare wheel & tire shall be supplied loose. 1.03 Lettering & stripe The cab shall be lettered to the department’s design using RealGold 22KT gold vinyl adhesive film and a 6” white Scotchlite reflective stripe applied to the cab. The final lettering layout shall be approved by the department. 1.04 Running boards Two (2) black powder coated nerf bar style steps shall be installed on the cab, one each side. The steps shall extend under the front & rear cab doors. 1.05 Rear Hitch A rear mounted 2” trailer hitch receiver shall be securely attached to the chassis frame and shall include the 7-pin wiring trailer harness. The hitch shall have at least a class IV rating.
