1 Bathroom Modification Remove the existing 38” W x 38” D shower stall and install ADA accessible walk-in barrier-free shower using 2”x 2” tile on shower floor and 12”x 12” tile on shower wall. Shower floor dimension will be 40” W x 40” D. Install 12” x 12” wall tile 7ft in height. Install new p-trap in the center of the shower floor to accommodate the new shower stall. Shower room flooring should gently slope toward shower drains with actual shower pan having approximately ½” additional gentle sloping drops toward drain with 1” gradual slope. Install Handheld spray nozzle with height adjustment slide bar, positioned for wheelchair accessible reach. Safety grab bars: Install deadwood (2 x 6) all the way around shower @ approx. 36” height. Two 36” grab bar will be installed on main and back shower wall. Install a custom curved shower rod and curtain in shower stall. Texture and paint walls and trim in work area. Dispose waste and make ready. 2 Door Modifications Remove and expand existing 24” W bathroom door and replace with 32” W door.
