The maintenance performed will include, where applicable, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: 1. Check the pump’s electrical condition of the following, but not limited to: all wire insulation, connections, voltage supply and balances with the pump on, amperage draw and thermal protector where applicable. 2. Remove the five (5) pumps from the (Diamond levee station) and one (1) pump (I-69 station) and physical inspection of the following: a. Check condition and operation of leakage detector (if so equipped.) b. Check lower shaft seals (inspect condition of oil.) c. Change oil yearly (cost of oil included and same kind.) d. Check for worn or loose impeller and the impeller rings. e. Check for noisy upper and lower bearings. f. Check for physical damage of pump and power cable. g. Clean, reset, and check the operation of the level sensors. h. Check for the correct shaft rotation. 3. Reinstall pump and check (if liquid level in station permits.)(if needed) 4. Test of pump operation cycle (if liquid level in station permits.) 5. Test and run Pump lubrication system (only applies to I-69 lift station.) 6. Check motor oil levels and adjust as needed. (Only applies to I-69 lift station.). 7. Inspect the following electrical pump indicators, controls & sensors: a. Selector switches & pilot lights. b. Level transmitter & displays. c. Pump lead, lag and back up controls. d. Pump contactors or soft starters. e. Motor electrical loads (if sufficient water level exists). f. Corrosion or heating of motor terminations in the breaker and control panels and disconnects.
