The Contractor shall provide direct staffing placement services to support the University of South Carolina (USC) in recruiting qualified professionals for positions requiring expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) as applied to higher education environments and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems management and programming, including but not limited to experience with Ellucian Banner or similar higher education ERP platforms. The Contractor will be responsible for conducting searches within the State of South Carolina and, when appropriate, nationally, to identify qualified candidates for positions to be employed by the University on an as-needed basis. Candidates must possess the requisite education, technical skills, and professional experience necessary to perform the duties outlined in job descriptions provided by USC. The Contractor shall commence services immediately upon the effective date listed in the Award Notice for any positions currently open. Throughout the term of the resulting Contract, USC may request additional searches for new positions as determined necessary. The total number of positions to be filled is not guaranteed. The University reserves the right to post and fill open information technology positions independently, without utilizing the Contractor’s services. If USC hires a candidate who (a) was originally sourced by the Contractor during a previously authorized search and (b) was interviewed by USC within twelve (12) months immediately preceding the hire, USC will negotiate a placement fee with the Contractor not to exceed twenty percent (20%) of the candidate’s annual salary
