Contractor will remediate documents and provide closed captioning services in a timely and cost-effective manner on an as-needed basis using a combination of manual remediation process and automated tools. For remediation work, Contractor will provide proof of compliance. An example proof of compliance would be a 100% compliance guarantee along with a full compliance report for each remediated file. Dakota County will seek services in a decentralized manner for this project with individual department staff contacts engaging with the contractor as needed. The estimated number of department contacts is between 10-20. Dakota County staff will have varying knowledge levels of accessibility. Project and Engagement Requirements 1. Compliance level WCAG 2.1AA 2. Compliance with Section 508 3. Compliance with PDF/UA Responsibilities of the Selected Contractor 1. Remediate/Caption documents and video provided by the County. 2. Provide quote and a timeline of estimated completion. 3. Due to potential for sensitive data content and documents, Contractor will provide method for secure file exchange. 4. Invoices shall be submitted to Dakota County specific contact. Required Skills 1. Must have ability to manually remediate (not use 100% automation to remediate files). 2. Must have a minimum of (2) two years’ experience providing professional digital accessibility services. Preferred Skills 1. Advanced knowledge and experience using digital accessibility tools for remediation compliance. 2. Experience providing digital accessibility services to governmental entities. 3. Current member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals
