Tree Identification and Assessment: Fayetteville Urban Forestry staff have identified the ash trees for health and suitability for treatment, with no more than 50% crown dieback. A detailed list and map of trees to be treated will be included. If any tree listed and scheduled for treatment that the contractor believes is not healthy enough for treatment, notify staff immediately to arrange an on-site consultation prior to treatment. Systemic Trunk Injection Application: Application of EPA-approved systemic insecticides (e.g., emamectin benzoate, azadirachitin, imidacloprid, and acephate) via trunk injection, strictly following manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices. The treatment must provide effective control against EAB. Any chemicals not listed above will be considered for approval, provided the treatment is proven to provide effective control against EAB. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records for each treated tree, including: o Tree ID/Location- Maps provided by staff o Diameter at Breast Height (DBH)- Provided by Fayetteville staff/ Confirmed on Site o Date of Treatment o Product Used (Name, EPA Reg. No., Active Ingredient) o Dosage Applied o Technician Name o Notes on tree health or specific conditions Safety and Compliance: Adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding pesticide application, worker safety, and environmental protection. Post-Treatment Communication: Provide a summary report of all treatments performed. Note: This RFB is specifically for trunk injection treatments. Tree removal, pruning, or other arborist services are outside the scope of this request unless explicitly agreed upon.
