The proposed area for the basketball court resurfacing is 100’ x 132’. The selected contractor shall verify the dimensions on site before starting work. The courts shall be resurfaced with acrylic surfacing and mask and hand painted lines. Product Desired: Acrylic basketball court resurfacing. The existing base of all courts is asphalt. Existing court surface is acrylic surfacing (20-30 years old). Northwest Park contains two (2) basketball courts needing resurfacing. Clean courts surface of all foreign materials and debris. Power wash all mildewed areas to insure proper adhesion of new materials. Remove all existing wood particles from the courts surfaces and patch all voids caused by wood in the existing asphalt. Clean, fill, and level all depressions on courts. Supply and apply one (1) acrylic resurfacer and two (2) sand filled color coats (Colors will be determined later). Lines shall be the format of a standard basketball court with a traditional 19.75’ 3- point arc.
