The City is seeking to establish contracts with qualified vendors to support its 24/7 on-call board-up, security, disaster mitigation, and restoration services. The goal of this project is to ensure rapid, reliable response to emergencies that impact public property, infrastructure, and the safety of the community. This includes securing damaged buildings, mitigating environmental hazards, and performing necessary cleanup and restoration following fires, storms, accidents, or other disasters. Selected vendors will be expected to provide timely, professional service under varying and often urgent conditions, supporting the City’s commitment to public safety and continuity of services. Through this initiative, the City aims to build a dependable network of experienced contractors capable of deploying quickly and working collaboratively with municipal departments and emergency responders. Services may include emergency board-up of windows and doors, installation of temporary fencing, water and smoke damage mitigation, debris removal, structural drying, mold remediation, and other related tasks. The overarching objective is to minimize disruption, safeguard property, and accelerate recovery efforts in the wake of unforeseen incidents.
