NDDOT intends to purchase six (6) AI100 portable traffic counters from Leetron Vision, LLC. Leetron AI100 portable counters are able to collect and process traffic counting in real-time with no additional processing fees. The AI100 is able to classify traffic using FHWA 13-bin vehicle category classification. The camera has a resolution of 1280x720 to capture clear images. The AI100 can also collect down to -4 degrees Fahrenheit, which is important in North Dakota weather. Also included is a 1-year warranty. The following requirement must be met: 1) Must classify counts using FHWA 13-bin vehicle category classification with minimum 94% accuracy. 2) Must have the ability to produce a file from 3 days of data into a single file for upload into MS2 (2 partial days and then the full 24 hours. A counter started on Monday @ 10:00 AM and shuts down Wednesday @ 10:00 AM). Also, results must be able to be uploaded into MS2 in a timely manner. 3) Collect, process and classify traffic in real-time. 4) Must be able to set up and collect traffic counts in areas with no cellular service. 5) Must be able to add or edit station information, start & end times and lane assignments in the portable counter on the roadside without a laptop. 6) 1-year warranty required. 7) Internal battery life of minimum of 52 hours. 8) Operating temperature range of 0 degrees Fahrenheit to 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
