Through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), the City of Durham’s Department of Water Management is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from firms to provide professional engineering services for the maintenance of its finished water storage tanks and water treatment plant (WTP) clearwells. Due to the varying ages of these tanks across the distribution system, the level and type of annual maintenance required can differ significantly. The selected consultant will provide comprehensive services, including inspections, engineering evaluations, and construction support to ensure that all finished water storage tanks remain structurally sound, watertight, and fully operational in accordance with design specifications and all applicable North Carolina State regulations.
