This contract is for annual needs for a light duty maintenance crew for road maintenance activities throughout Beaufort County. The Contractor shall provide equipment, tools, and labor to perform typical work items that may include, but not be limited to, ditch cleanout, small pipe installation, debris/tree removal, asphalt repair, and other road maintenance activities. NCDOT will provide all necessary materials that are to be incorporated into the work. The Contractor shall be required to provide traffic control as directed by the Engineer. All work and materials shall be in accordance with the provisions of the General Guidelines of this contract, the Project Special Provisions, the North Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures 2024, the North Carolina Department of Transportation 2024 Roadway Standard Drawings, and the current edition of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
