1. The City will arrange for the disconnection of utility service connections. Before starting the demolition process, the Contractor must verify that all utilities have been disconnected. The Contractor is responsible for calling Dig Safe to get locates. 2. The sewer shall be capped. This must be completed by a licensed plumber. 3. Demolish and remove the house, its foundation and the garage. 4. The structure is listed as having a partial basement, and must be removed. 5. Possible cistern located on property. Backfill with sand or gravel to ground level as required. 6. All demolition materials must be dumped in a demolition landfill licensed by Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE). 7. Demolition landfill receipts to show landfill usage are required prior to payment for services rendered. 8. The demolition shall be conducted as a wet-down teardown in full compliance with all applicable Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) regulations and statutes.
