Unless otherwise specified elsewhere in this Response document, the Contractor shall meet all applicable specifications, as outlined in Washoe County Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction 2016 (Orange Book). The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to install approximately 950 linear feet of 6-inch DR 18 C900 PVC water main within the alley between 1st Street and 3rd Street in Gabbs, Nevada. The project includes, but is not limited to, the following components: • Excavation, backfill, and compaction • Installation of one fire hydrant • Installation of twenty-one (21) 1-inch water service lines with reconnection to existing meters • Tie-ins to existing water mains at 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Streets • Cutting and capping of the existing 2-inch water main • Restoration of gravel roads and driveway approaches to their pre-construction condition • Saw-cutting and replacement of asphalt in 2nd Street • Replace existing water meters as needed if damaged • Any special construction at the water-sewer crossing • Repair existing water and sewer mains as needed if damaged • Additional potholing if needed
