1. The "Project," of which the "Work" of this Contract is a part, is titled Freshwater Boat Launch Facility Improvements. The project will improve RIDEM owned facilities at Keech Pond and Wilson Reservoir. The contract includes boat ramp demolition, reconstruction, and site improvements at both sites. The Keech Pond boat ramp is located on Indian Trail in Glocester. The Wilson Reservoir boat ramp is located on East Wallum Lake Road in Burrillville. 2. The "Work" of this Contract is defined in the Contract Documents to include, but not necessarily to be limited to furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform the following: a. Install all sediment and erosion controls shown in the drawings. b. Install all necessary water control structures including cofferdams, pumps, and sediment control measures. c. Remove and properly dispose of the existing concrete boat ramps. Remove all necessary underwater sediment at boat ramp toe. Clear and grub as necessary.Demolition inherent to the scope of site improvements shown in the drawings.
