Dare County is seeking quotes to purchase a 2025 drone command trailer. The trailer must be able to be towed by a standard SUV or pickup truck using a 2-inch ball and 7 blade/4 pin electrical connector. The trailer will be 20’L x 8’ W x 9’-1”H with dual 3,500 lbs. axles (7,000 lbs. GVWR) and fenders on the outside of the body. The trailer will have a rear ramp door and a 30” side entry door. The trailer will have a white aluminum exterior skin and all aluminum main frame construction with insulated aluminum tube walls studs and ceiling joists. The interior walls will be a pebble finish fiberglass. Gray “raised coin’ will be used for the flooring. An L shaped two position work area with a laminate counter top will be installed with four (4) 110V outlets and two (2) CAT6 connections at each workstation. All CAT6 connections will run to an electronic equipment rack that will be installed under the counter. Electric service will be provided by a 120v/12v breaker panel fed by either a Honda EU7000w super quiet gas generator or equivalent mounted on the trailer hitch or from a 50 Amp 25’ long shore tie power line. The trailer will be equipped with a roof mounted 13,500 Btu Air Conditioner. The interior will be illuminated with LED ceiling lights. Five (5) flush mount FRC LED scene lights (2 on curbside, 2 on roadside and 1 on front) will be installed on the exterior. A bracket to mount a TV (including blocking, 110v GFI outlet and CAT6 connection) will be installed on the curbside exterior. The vendor will install two (2) TV’s at workstations, a Starlink antenna router and Cradlepoint antenna and router provided by Dare County. The trailer will come with: two task chairs; two (2) rows of “E Track” on both interior sidewalls with hooks/clips, and a spare tire and rim identical to those on the trailer. An exterior graphics allowance of $1500 shall be included.
