The scope of services to be provided by the Proposer includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Mobilize all necessary resources, including vehicles preloaded with safety, cleaning, and drying equipment. 2. Address all safety issues with the Parish staff regarding hazardous and unstable areas. 3. Assess water/moisture and mold/bacteria-impacted building materials, develop the appropriate scope of work for remediation, restoration, and monitoring the performance. 4. Document and photograph all damaged materials and equipment affected, and refer to industry standard pricing guides such as “The Blue Book” to determine the proper value of lost materials and their service. 5. Assess and document any interior and external environmental/hazardous concerns. 6. Manage customized remediation protocols in different levels of water and mold contamination conditions. 7. Dry the structure and sanitize any affected or cross-contaminated areas and deodorize all affected areas and materials. 8. After labor is completed, water-damaged equipment, including, but not limited to, air movers, air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and subfloor drying equipment, is left in the building. After a period of two (2) to three (3) days of completing the labor, a reevaluation of the building will be conducted to monitor the drying process, and any equipment not further needed is to be removed to keep the charges under control. 9. Provide the Parish with written progress status reports daily. 10. Scrubbing, vacuuming, selective demolition of damaged interior building finishes, and removing interior debris. 11. Removal of trash and exterior abatement, and necessary post-work clean-up. 12. Ability to respond to damage to a single property. 13. Ability to respond to a catastrophic event that may cause damage to multiple facilities 14. Accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 15. Must be able to mobilize necessary resources to initiate damage remediation with two (2) hours’ notice. 16. Asbestos abatement. 17. Commercial cleaning and decontamination of HVAC units, ductwork, drapes & textiles, and interior surfaces. 18. Fire, smoke, water, and wind damage recovery. 19. Temporary roofing and weatherproofing of windows/doors.
