The City of Lake Oswego invites your Engineering Consulting Firm to submit a proposal to provide professional engineering services for the design of Work Order 389 Boones Ferry Road at Mercantile Drive – Pedestrian Crosswalk Signal, which includes planning, topographic survey, data collection, utility coordination, design, construction, and installation of pedestrian signalization for the east leg of the intersection of Boones Ferry Road and Mercantile Drive in order to comply with MUTCD standards for signalized intersections and American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) codes and standards for curb ramps. The objective of the project is to assist the City with planning, design, construction solicitation, and construction support services necessary for preparation of bid-ready construction documents for the installation of new audible countdown indicators and new audible push buttons at the Boones Ferry Road and Mercantile Drive east leg intersection crossing. In addition, (3) separate curb ramps at this location shall be replaced to meet applicable ADA codes and standards and audible functionality is to be integrated and installed into existing countdown indicators and push buttons at the Boones Ferry Road crossing northwest and northeast corners. This work will include project management, project initiation, topographic survey, data collection, utility coordination, preparation and submittal of plans, specifications, estimates (PS&E), construction solicitation, and construction support services.
