The Citadel, a state-supported comprehensive military college located in Charleston, South Carolina, with a Corps of Cadets of approximately 2,350, seeks modern, reliable, and energy-efficient laundry services to support its residential population. The new laundry program will: • Provide turn-key laundromat operations offering free laundry service to the residential population. • The building is restricted to cardholders only, with real-time validation against The Citadel’s Campus Card (One Card) database. The Citadel is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide laundry equipment and services for its laundromat. An infrastructure project will be completed during the summer of 2026 to increase the capacity of available washers and dryers to sixteen (16) washers and sixteen (16) dryers. No debit/credit card or cash/coin transactions are required.
