Alaska Housing Finance Corporation is seeking bids for the Chugach View Drain Waste & Vent (DWV) Cleaning Project, located at 1280 E. 17th Ave., Anchorage, Alaska 99501. The project encompasses a 120-unit multifamily property that includes 120 onebedroom/one-bathroom apartment units, 6 laundry rooms (5 with mop sinks), 8 firstfloor units with walk-in showers and floor drains, 2 public restrooms, 1 full community kitchen, and 2 compactor rooms with floor drains. The Contractor shall provide comprehensive cleaning and camera inspection services for the DWV piping systems serving the property. The scope includes: • Cleaning all drain waste lines in the crawlspace first, from the crawlspace piping through to the city sewer main connection, to ensure all debris from vertical stacks can flow freely out. • Cleaning of all kitchen & bathroom sink drain lines, including vertical stacks on all three floors of the building. • Performing a complete camera inspection of all DWV piping (unit bathrooms, laundry, lobby restrooms, kitchen branch lines, compactor rooms, and floor drains) to determine whether additional cleaning is required and to identify any broken or damaged piping in need of replacement.
