The primary objective of the RFP is to retain a data analyst(s) who has the capability to perform the following functions: • Collect and Analyze data related to the racial wealth gap in the city of Buffalo • Summarize findings to construct a comprehensive narrative regarding wealth distribution in the City of Buffalo • Provide actionable insights to guide the development of financial empowerment The work to be performed includes but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Data Collection and Analysis o Gathering relevant data from multiple sources including census data, local surveys, and financial records o Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and disparities in wealth among different racial groups 8 2. Report Development o Creating a detailed report that summarizes findings and provides a narrative on the racial wealth gap o Offering recommendations for programming, marketing, outreach, and design strategies. 3. Performance Measures o In addition to any other performance monitoring metrics referenced in this RFP, the City will track the following Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): ▪ Community Engagement: Level of participation in proposed programs ▪ Sustainability Metrics: Long-term viability of proposed financial initiatives.
