The Contractor shall provide twenty four (24) hour availability three hundred and sixty five (365) days a year to answer, respond to and execute service requests as detailed in this document. The Contractor will be required to provide the identified services on an “on-call”, “as needed” basis. These services shall include but not be limited to the following: Maintenance (including preventative maintenance), modification, repair, Non-destructive Examination (NDE), and inspection and testing (including load testing) services for cranes, hoists, and associated below-the-hook (BTH) devices (such as beams and wire rope) on an “as requested” basis by the Authority, at the Authority’s facilities or other facilities being maintained by the Authority. The Contractor shall document the outcome and results of the work through “red-line” as-built drawings submitted to the Authority, along with a detailed report that encompasses all relevant information regarding the service(s) rendered. Condition assessments, as requested, to determine existing or as-left conditions of cranes and hoists and their components. The results of this work shall be provided by the Contractor in a detailed written report, identifying all findings from the examinations and inspection, with conclusions and detailed recommendations with costs, based on the evaluation of the findings. Technical services in support of the requested or required maintenance, modification, repair or testing work. These technical services may include engineering and design activities that shall be approved, signed and sealed by a licensed Professional Engineer registered in the state of New York. Notification to the Authority of any necessary crane upgrades resulting from changes in regulations and/or codes or corrective actions recommended from any existing condition.
