The site consists of 0.8394 acres of land referred to as Plat 63A, Lot 305, with an address of 1080 Main Street. The site is owned by Cowden Street Collaborative, Inc. d/b/a Segue Institute for Learning. The Segue Institute for Learning will be using this space as an outdoor classroom for instructional purposes as well as some recreational areas (pickleball, soccer and basketball). The space will also be used as part of their ongoing beautification projects. The site has a site remediation code of SR-26-2180. Historically, the site was owned by Smith Webbing and Everlastik, Inc., both webbing manufacturers; Standard Mill Supply Co.; Ronnie Jewelry Inc., Da Vinci Creations, Inc., and Jewelry Crafts Co., all jewelry manufacturers. Contamination at the site includes polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), arsenic, lead, and total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH).
