A. INSPECTION & TESTING 1. Routine inspections and testing must include all services and materials to ensure backflow assemblies are in proper working order. 2. Inspection and testing services help the City comply with the requirements of WAC 246.290.490. a. Supplier is responsible for ensuring compliance with the most recent version of WAC 246.290.490. The most current version can be found at: WAC 246-290-490 - Cross Connection Control 3. Supplier must conduct testing according to the University of Southern California (USC) Foundation for Cross Connection Control and Hydraulic Research, Manual of Cross-Connection Control, 10th Edition. a. The supplier is responsible for ensuring that the most recent version of the manual is followed. B. REPAIRS 1. The supplier must complete minor repairs for all backflow assemblies that fail the initial inspection and testing criteria.
