The District is seeking Professional of Record (an Architect/Engineer team) to assist District staff in planning,designing, and constructing security vestibules at multiple schools over the next three years, with the option toextend for two one-year periods. Examples of past security vestibule work includes:•Interior remodel of existing entry vestibule and main office area. A new double door partition and a newtransaction window will create a security vestibule.•Alterations to the main office. A new glass partition with doors in the hallway will make a new securedvestibule. Remodel of the main office casework and transaction window into the vestibule. New door toexisting office.•Interior remodel of existing office interior. A new partition wall with a door and transaction window willcreate a security vestibule.Project Description:Professional Services to include:•Pre-design services & Schematic Design•Design Development•Construction Documents•Construction Administration, including but not limited to review and approval of submittals, shopdrawings and invoices•Final Inspections and Project Close Out•Coordination of other support services:oIndependent 3rd Party Cost Estimates at Schematic Design, Design Development andConstruction Document phasesoSite Design (if needed)oCivil Engineering (if needed)oStructural EngineeringoElectrical Engineering (if needed)oMechanical Engineering (if needed)oCoordination of the building permitting process with the appropriate city or county agencies•Communication and supportoFacilitate planning with district staff and committees
