Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.. Software AG is the sole provider of the Adabas and Natural Software. PEBA’s legacy systems that support retirement payments and health enrollment run on these platforms and, as these systems are aging, the expertise to adequately maintain these systems rests with Software AG as the exclusive developer and manufacturer of both Adabas and Natural. PEBA has used its legacy computer systems for more than 35 years to administer these benefit programs and must ensure that these legacy systems continue to perform at optimal levels. Therefore, it is imperative that we have a qualified contractor capable of working with Adabas and Natural proprietary software to ensure PEBA’s databases that run on these platforms are functional, secure, and available by managing their performance, security, and integrity.
