The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) hereby provides notice, pursuant to the authority of SC Code 11-35-1560 and SC Regulation 19-445-2105, that it intends to award without competition a contract to Agilent Technologies for a service and support agreement for Agilent GCMS 5975 Diffusion System, GCMS 5975 Turbo System, Intuvo 9000GC System Enhance, LCMS Triple Quad System, 6465A Triple Quadrupole LC/MS System, 6430 QQQ System, 6470 QQQ LC/MS system, LCMS 6475 QQQ System, and 6545/ 6546 LC/ QTOF System Instruments that are used in SLED’s Forensic Services Laboratory. Only Agilent is certified to service and support their proprietary instruments and software. Agilent has not certified any other third-party vendors to service and support their instruments. Warranties would be voided if another vendor were to service. The services are required to ensure that the instruments continue to function properly and provide accurate results for criminal investigations
