A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, and supplies required to repair, replace existing plumbing systems, and install new plumbing systems as specified in this Agreement and in accordance with individual project task orders. This includes the provision of all replacement parts and component systems required for existing building plumbing systems in accordance with all OEM specifications. The Services shall additionally include, but not be limited to: a. Expediting services. b. Regular service calls. c. Emergency service calls. 2. Repair, replacement and installation services provided by the Contractor shall comply with provisions of the following rules, regulations, codes and standards, except as otherwise specified in this Agreement: a. New York City Administrative Code (“Admin. Code”); b. Rules of the City of New York (“RCNY”) and New York City Local Laws; c. Con Edison Gas Utility Rules and Regulations d. American Society for Testing and Materials (“ASTM”); e. American National Standards Institute (“ANSI”); f. National Fire Protection Association (“NFPA”); g. American Society of Mechanical Engineers (“ASME”); h. American Society of Civil Engineers (“ASCE”); i. Factory Mutual (“FM”) Global; j. American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (“ASHRAE”); k. United Laboratory Inc. (“UL”); and l. Cast Iron Soil Pipe Institute (“CISPI”). 3. The Contractor shall be available and prepared to provide staff and all the required services sufficient to handle at least ten (10) locations at the same time, if required by the FDNY. 4. Repair, replacement and installation of plumbing systems will take place during the regular service window hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays, and may continue outside of the regular services window at the sole option of the FDNY. 5. The Contractor shall maintain an answering service or other continuous telephone coverage on a twenty four (24) hour per day, seven (7) day per week basis, to permit the FDNY to notify the Contractor whenever Services are required.
