1. Pflugerville Independent School District (known herein as Pflugerville ISD or the district), Pflugerville, Texas, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Employee Group Voluntary Products Consultant. 2. The district currently offers: Dental, Vision, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, Accident, Long Term Disability, Group Term Life, Whole Life, Dependent FSA, General and Limited FSA, HSA plans, Identity Protection, and Pet Insurance. Pflugerville ISD reserves the right to change the current offers at any time. 3. The firm selected by the District will be expected to handle all basic services customarily performed by a consultant in respect to the district’s Employee Group Voluntary Products. In addition, the awarded firm will be expected to provide, as a part of its basic services fee, policy development, review and drafting of documents, opinions, analysis, negotiations and research from time to time pertaining to matters directly or indirectly related to the district’s Employee Group Voluntary Products. 4. The awarded firm will be on call to attend Board meetings, with adequate notice provided by the Superintendent, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, or Director of Procurement & Auxiliary Services. 5. The awarded firm will be expected to represent the District in all Employee Group Voluntary Product related matters. 6. The awarded firm must be responsive to telephone calls and requests from District representatives.
