DEP intends to enter into a Sole Source agreement with Canary Systems Inc., for CRO-660 Proprietary Software, Hardware, and Database Support Services for Automated Data Acquisition System Proprietary Software, Hardware, and Database Support Services for Automated Data Acquisition System with Sole Source Vendor Canary Systems Inc. The Bureau of Water Supply, Drinking Water Operations, Dam Safety Section, currently uses Canary proprietary Hardware and Software support services for their Automated Data Acquisition System (ADAS). This dam and dike monitoring system is crucial to emergency response, allows frequent readings without increased labor and cost, allows monitoring of instrument response to changing environmental and physical influences, enables direct computer acquisition of data, and has numerous other advantages. This purchase includes hardware support, software support and updates, and base services comprised of requested deliverables, database support and technical support services on an “as needed” basis.
