The purpose for this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit bids for the completion of design documents, production of construction documents, and bidding assistance for a replacement and upgrade of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning at the Support Complex Building at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Connecticut. Harkness Memorial is a state park with buildings on the national register of historic places that has been open to the public. The support complex, formerly the carriage house, was originally designed to be upgraded to geothermal until the greater project encompassing the complete support complex renovation was ended before completion. DEEP is looking to hire a consultant to be able to complete the design of the HVAC replacement and electrical upgrades so that the project can be put out to open competitive bid.
