The objective of this project is to upgrade the electrical systems for the NC National Guard’s Red Springs Readiness Center and Field Maintenance Shop 10. The 13,760 SF Readiness Center and the 4,000 SF Field Maintenance Shop both have electrical systems that cannot support the required electrical loads. The main goal of the renovation is to ensure that all devices, panels, and wiring comply with current building codes, increase the load capacity & distribution panel capabilities, consolidate all panels into central locations, reroute select electrical conduits, and install a Manual Transfer Switch for standby generator operation. All modifications will only affect the existing facilities, and no changes to site electrical infrastructure are planned.
