ALTERNATE PROSECUTOR -Technical Specifications The Township of Old Bridge desires to appoint an Alternate Municipal Prosecutor, by way of contract, for the Township of Old Bridge Municipal Court for a one-year term expiring December 31, 2025. The Alternate Prosecutor shall be responsible for the conduct of prosecutions and appeals involving crimes and offenses cognizable by the Municipal Court of the Township of Old Bridge except such crimes as may be the duty of the County Prosecutor or Attorney General to prosecute when required. The Prosecutor shall also prosecute violations of ordinances of the Township and complaints of any department under state law. Applicants must have at least five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a Municipal Prosecutor and must have been duly admitted to the practice of law in the State of New Jersey for at least five years. Any experience or knowledge of matters that directly affect the Township of Old Bridge should be addressed.
