a) Meet the overall program goal of preventing and reducing homelessness and severe housing cost burdens among Yarmouth residents through the provision of rental assistance. b) Advertise the availability of the program within the Yarmouth community using appropriate outreach methods that ensure broad access to eligible households. c) Develop and maintain application materials for the rental assistance program, subject to Town review and approval. d) Receive, intake, and process applications submitted by Yarmouth households, ensuring that all confidential and personal information is securely stored and safeguarded. e) Determine and certify household eligibility to receive benefits in accordance with the Beneficiary Eligibility Requirements described in Section 3.1.3. f) Make rental assistance payments directly to property owners or management companies on behalf of eligible households. g) Prepare and submit reimbursement requests to the Town of Yarmouth with appropriate supporting documentation. h) Maintain complete program records for all applications, payments, and related activities, ensuring records are available for review or audit upon request. i) Report program accomplishments and outcomes to the Affordable Housing Trust as requested by the Town.
