The Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas, acting on behalf of the University of Arkansas, located in Fayetteville, Arkansas (UA) is seeking proposals from qualified and reputable Respondents to provide consultant services for campus wide access control program pursuant to the specifications, terms and conditions stated in this RFP (“Proposal(s)”). Currently UA has various access control systems throughout campus, with a diverse mix facility types, age, uses, and requirements. UA is seeking a consultant to aid UA with completing an assessment of the current state, and developing a strategy, timeline, cost, campus impact, prioritization plan, and recommendation for a desired future state of access management on campus. Assessment will include considerations for integration with existing University systems and for operational standards to effectively manage a new system and supporting infrastructure (readers, panels, wifi hubs, cameras, etc.). Consulting services should also include the scope and cost of services to develop technical specifications, infrastructure needs, and RFP materials for competitive access control vendor selection and an option to consult on the system implementation.
