Boise State University (“the University”) seeks proposals from qualified vendors to furnish, deliver, install, and support parking payment kiosks across designated campus lots and garages. The University’s goal is to modernize its parking payment infrastructure with reliable, user-friendly, and secure technology that integrates seamlessly with current and future enforcement systems, mobile payment platforms, and financial reporting requirements. Required Products and Services The successful vendor shall provide: A. Parking Kiosks Hardware ● Outdoor-rated kiosks, weather and vandal-resistant. ● ADA-compliant design (height, interface, accessibility features). ● Durable, tamper-resistant enclosures. ● Power options: wired, solar, or hybrid depending on location. ● Capable of Ethernet (Wired) connection ● Capable of receiving DHCP address(IPv4) from network(Preferred) Payment Capabilities ● EMV chip, contactless (NFC, mobile wallet), and mag-stripe card acceptance. ● Cash acceptance mandatory; change dispensing required. ● Secure PCI-compliant payment processing. (PtoPE) ● Capability to process payment card and/or cash transactions during network outages, with functionality to temporarily store transaction data and automatically forward it once communication is restored.
