1. 500 Miles Centerline Mowing o Mow a minimum width of 15 feet from edge of road and 20 feet in areas wide enough on both sides of designated county roads. o Maintain a uniform cut between four to seven inches in height. o Mowing shall occur four times a year over six-week cycles. 2. Trimming & Johnsongrass Suppression o Trim around signs, guardrails, culverts, fences, and other obstacles located within the right-of-way. o Ensure no vegetation obstructs visibility of traffic control signs or drainage structures. o Three cycles of spraying to suppress Johnsongrass to occur during three of the four mowing cycles 3. Litter Control o Remove and properly dispose of all litter and debris (including tires, paper, cans, bottles, and similar materials) from right-of-ways before and after mowing. o Maintain litter-free conditions throughout the contract period. 4. Work Areas o Services shall be provided along designated county-maintained roads and right-of-ways as identified by the Walker County Roads Department. o Maps and mileage estimates provided.
