Replacement of the existing 2-span bridge (CR 4 over Cohocton River) with a new 2 span integral abutment bridge with a center pier, steel girders, and concrete deck. The replacement structure will be approximately 215 feet long. The new alignment will not allow the new structure to be built while keeping the existing bridge in service, requiring an offsite detour Description of the Work The items of work include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: Installation of all erosion control elements Removal of two-truss superstructures and substructures Construction of steel, multi-girder structure on integral abutments and a center pier Reconstruction of the approach pavement within the project limits Replacement of existing guiderail and signs within project limits
