WEIGHT Machine operating weight shall be a minimum of 85,000 lbs. with no ballast in wheels. ENGINE The engine shall be of the diesel type, four-stroke cycle, fully equipped with all necessary operational accessories. The engine shall be mounted so as to be accessible for adjustment and normal servicing. Engine certified to meet Final Tier 4 emissions. Net horsepower shall be not less than 405. The engine shall have a piston displacement not less than 918 in3. Shall be equipped with a hydraulically driven reversing fan that automatically reverses fan rotation at preset intervals to purge debris from radiator and engine compartment without stopping machine or slowing hydraulic functions. Must have direct injection fuel system. Fan shall be hydraulic variable speed demand. Engine air cleaner shall be dual element, dry type with service indicator and turbine type pre-cleaner. Alternator shall be 110 amp (minimum). Heavy-duty batteries (950 cold cranking amps).
