The Village is seeking licensed electrical contractors to perform the required electrical grounding in residential properties in conjunction with the Village’s Lead Service Line Replacement Program. The Village is expecting to replace ninety-one lead service lines in 2026 as part of this Work. The Village expects approximately sixty-five (65) of the ninety-one (91) will need some type of grounding work to be performed by an electrician. Type A Type A is characterized as a “short extension” of the existing ground. This type includes up to ten (10) feet of conduit and up to fifteen (15) of conductor. Interior restoration, connectors, couplings, fittings and any other necessary accoutrements and/or equipment necessary to complete the Work are to be included in the cost. Type B1 Type B1 is characterized as an extension of eleven (11) to forty (40) feet of conduit and up to sixty (60) feet of conductor. . Interior restoration, connectors, couplings, fittings and any other necessary accoutrements and/or equipment necessary to complete the Work are to be included in the cost.
