The Project generally includes: Park Recovery – the park site suffered significant flooding damage as a result of Tropical Storm Helene that requires demolition, replacement, construction, or reconstruction of certain park features that will either restore/replace to pre-Helene conditions (eligible for FEMA Public Assistance reimbursement) or improve pre-Helene conditions (eligible for FEMA Hazard Mitigation reimbursement). Features within the scope of this Project include: a. Demolition: signage, grills, trash cans b. Replacement: signage, recreational amenities (grills, picnic tables, park seating, etc), plant material, utility service/supply connections c. Construction: grading, park pavilion d. Reconstruction: riverside embankment, wetlands, playground surface and amenities
