The Contractor shall provide all labor, commercial grade materials, tools, and equipment necessary to make repairs to 40 storage tanks at 21 different locations for the Department of Military Affairs (DMA). Specification: The Contractor shall retrofit identified tanks by adding one or more of the following devices: High liquid level alarm with audible or visual signal, High liquid level pump shutoff, direct audible or code signal communication between container gauge and pumping station, or a fast response system such as a direct vision gauge. Deficient tanks are identified in the ATIR Table 3 as D1. The Contractor shall tighten pipe fittings and loose connections and clean residual POL off exterior piping, replace damaged sections of flex-fuel hose and fittings, and repair fittings or other devices that may be leaking. Deficient tanks are identified in the ATIR Table 3 as D2. The Contractor shall repair/retrofit tanks to incorporate adequate venting or emergency venting devices. Deficient tanks are identified in the ATIR Table 3 as D3/D4. The Contractor shall install anti-siphon kits on all Fill-Rite pump systems. Deficient tanks are identified in the ATIR Table 3 as D5. The Contractor shall properly ground or bond tanks to prevent electrostatic ignition. Deficient tanks are identified in the ATIR Table 3 as D7. The Contractor shall affix NFPA placard “No Smoking” warning and product name on sides of the tank. Deficient tanks are identified in the ATIR Table 3 as D8. The Contractor shall install NFPA compliant piping systems and/or replace/repair leaking pipe fittings or valves. Deficient tanks are identified in the ATIR Table 3 as D9/D11.
