Pursuant to the IRP Rules, Cleco and ELL have filed correspondence requesting to initiate its 2025 IRP process. These matters will be docketed as “I” dockets, published in the Commission’s next Official Bulletin on November 7, 2025 for intervention, and shall follow the schedule contained in the IRP Rules. SWEPCO will also file its correspondence to initiate its 2025 in December 2025, which will also be published in a subsequent Commission Bulletin. Cleco and SWEPCO’s IRPs are anticipated to follow the procedural schedule set out in the IRP Rules; however, ELL has provided notice that it anticipates a deviation from the schedule found in Section 10 of the IRP Rules. ELL indicates this deviation is necessary in order to conduct a survey of interested stakeholders to gather feedback prior to filing data assumptions. This survey will result in a two-month deviation from the timing of three events: the date ELL will file data assumptions; the date for the first stakeholder meeting; and the date on which stakeholder comments are due. Commission Staff is aware of, and amendable, to this deviation.
