The Contractor shall have full responsibility for operation of the satellite collection sites as this pertains to site preparation including storm drains and covering drop off area, maintenance, and safety and waste handling, transportation and disposal during the Program’s April through October operating season. The satellite Sites will be inspected by the Contractor on each operation day, prior to accepting household hazardous waste, to check for any site issues, possible hazards, drains, or dangers that may disrupt the collection. Corrective action may be undertaken by designated individuals from the Contractor and RiverCOG. The satellite Collection Sites shall be returned to its original condition before the Contractor departs from the Collection Site on the collection day. Any spills that occur as a result of the HHW Collection shall be cleaned up with “Speedy Dry” or other absorbent material. No Wastes are to be left at the Collection Site. The Contractor shall ensure that all Wastes are removed from the site as soon as possible on the collection day. All non-hazardous waste disposal dumpsters (e.g., cardboard containers, empty cans and bottles, etc.) will be supplied and removed by a local contractor
