The project involves evaluation of the existing HVAC system and utility services, recommendations of energy efficient and viable HVAC, design, demolition, abatement and construction of a new selected HVAC system. The are currently no building generators. A building generator shall not be added at this time nor included in the project. The 1915 section of the building (House) has heating provided by gas fired boilers and an air handler. Cooling is limited and includes: 2nd and 4th floor window units, as well as a 3rd floor unit. The 1982-83 section of building (Addition) is served for heating and cooling by four (4) air handling units in combination with a central boiler and chiller. In collaboration with the Office of Energy Resources, the following items have recently been replaced or are planned for replacement: BMS System serving entire building, hot water tanks, and 4 small boilers...
